Welcome to our site  which was long due and we hope that you like it. We will try to include other resources available here in Tanzania besides fish so that one may know more about our country. And so on separate pages we have information on Tanzanian Hand made Art and Craft souvenir items and tours, specially around Lake Tanganyika. Information on ordering is also provided for those who would like to purchase any items. We may also accept special custom made orders where possible.

Photos of some of the fishes we had found in 1980's during our several expeditions on the lake. The quality of photos above is not very good as all were taken using our normal camera in 1980's, and processing done by the photo labs in Nairobi and took several weeks to receive. The days of digital photography was still a dream by then. These are post card size old photos luckily found in our drawers and scanned to upload here. Many photos are missing specially of fishes from the south of the Lake Tanganyika and we will keep on uploading for you once we find more.
